I think they made more than 500. Like 500 of each color. I find it hard to believe that there arent more than 500 out there with the huge number we see on the net.

The IQ isnt just a threshold. Its smaller by a long shot.

I wish DP would spend more than .5 seconds on their trigger frames..blocky block blocks

The sad thing is they did only make 500 total, and yet they're still available everywhere.

The initial marketing was handled horribly. It was "revolutionary" and "never before seen" but then it turned out to be a rather bland dump chamber design with a lot of FSDO problems. Efficiency isn't anything to write home about but maintenance is pretty easy due to lack of orings. DP is sticking with optical triggers and a lot of people just can't get used to them either. Being a one off design, there's next to zero after market support, which is important to a lot of people who enjoy "ups".

Macdev Droids are selling like hot cakes and yet they're twice the price as thresholds. MacDev came up with a rather complicated bolt assembly with even more o-rings than a Shocker, but has the same number of traveling o-rings as the Threshold and great efficiency.

Marketing was horrible.
Not revolutionary. No-one claimed it to be.
Only has FSDO if to much lube.
Efficiency for a spool-like marker *dump valve*...People are getting 1500 - 1900 off a 68/4500.
Optical switch triggers are nice. Aftermarket boards will allow for micro-switch.
DP's market support is excellent.

iQ is nearly the identical size, but with the back chopped off.
