I held this thing on Sunday, it felt nice, and is just about as small as the Mini.

What is the deal with the clip that is on the new pictures in the cut off portion of the tube?

Looks good. When is DP going to stop modeling their frame straps off of the first gen scion Xb? Cant stand the blocky trigger frame.

it will "feel" the same size as the threshold, but will be lighter.

the "cage" is merely for holding onto or looks. it is removable. the bolt is fully enclosed.

huge trigger guard is bad?

the threshold operation was also very similar to the HP, but longer. this bolt looks/functions nearly identically.

that's the euro verion, "iQ" after the exchange rate that's about $750USD

this should be available for significantly less than that.
Asked the same question, there's the answer

Just arrived and took some pics:

Box:

Nice!

1 Piece Barrel, Allens, Orings, Cheap-o Barrel Bag:

Appears to be the same board as the iQ:

New RAPS (BARELY fits with the Myth Regulator):

Gun:

Yep, same (venturi) bolt as the iQ:

Firing Chamber Air Inlet:

Gun:

Sorry about the crappy pics. I will try to get more when I have better lighting.

First impression is VERY good. The milling on the gun looks great. It is small
and light and feels very similar in my hands as the Threshold. The grip/reg
spacing is similar, but there is enough room to (barely) fit my thumb between.
The gun "feels" thinner in your hands due to the contours of the body and the
slim grips. I really do like the shape of these grips. Almost a UL-like
feel to them. Very comfy and a bit tacky. In the thin area I would guess
they are as thin (if not thinner) than acrylic grips. Flush eye covers area
small change that I like a lot. The Threshold ones just seemed out of place.

Same reg as iQ with (lockable) swivel at the bottom. New feedneck and new
RAPS are great IMO. Both have extra long levers for easy use. No more
difficulty opening the RAPS (and it does fit with my Myth reg, but if the
threading is off it may not fit others). In person the hook does look alright,
but I think I may use it without. One piece barrel with the same porting
pattern as the Fusion. Should be a bit quieter than the stock Threshold
barrel. Appears to use the same orings on the bolt as the Threshold. The
bolt does have the venturi design (like the iQ).

And my favorite part: the trigger! By far the best out-of-the box trigger I
have ever felt, and one of the best, period. I loved my Threshold trigger, but
this one is even better. It alone would be enough reason for me to pick up
this gun over the F8. It is a great shape and the stock spring feels very
good. The board on this gun appears to be the same as the iQ. 6 dip
switches, 4 for modes and 2 for dwell. Unfortunately I did not get a manual
with my gun. FYI, I have SN 004.

I will have more pictures and hopefully videos up this weekend! As well as
comments after I have actually shot it (I have dry fired it; so far, so good)

Anyone else have any thoughts on this gun? Anyone have one? I've got a chance to get one but no one around here has one for me to fondle first. What is the efficiency like?

Hmm. More and more mid-level electros are getting on the market. This fall is going to be GREAT!

I love the looks of this marker. Also, the fact that it is so small/light is amazing. I used to be that guys that would say "Stop being a pansy and wield a heavy marker!" but after playing with a Phantom for so long, I have no room in my gearbag for an overly long, tall, or heavy marker. Now I shall be considering a Promaster, a Mini, or the G3 when I move to B-town for a speedball marker. Awesome.

I saw as low as 1200 shots per 68/45 fill right out of the box and as high as 1500 shots several cases later while I was at Nationals.

I liked it so much I got another

EDIT: Some vids from last weekend:

My first attempt at shooting was thwarted by the family dog
I decided to stop and let him in the house

PbNation - Dangerous Power G3 Attempt #1

Next up was 25BPS NXL. Goldwaves at just under 20BPS.

PbNation - Dangerous Power G3 Ramping #1

Another 25BPS NXL, this time with a kick test at the beginning. Dwell at 12ms and velocity in the 290's FPS.

PbNation - Dangerous Power G3 Ramping and Kick Test

Last up was some NPPL semi, but I had the eyes off, so it just turned into a blender
It does Goldwave at a steady 15BPS though

Wow. 25% increase with a broken-in reg is either impressive or not, depending on which way you look at it I guess. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far, but I haven't really heard any negative comments. That worries me almost as much as hearing too many.

Oh and thanks for the quick response and all the videos/ info Xluben. You've done some great work.

A few people in AZ now own them, at the field last weekend they barely got to use them because they were being passed around the teams, everyone agreed that it shoots so smooth for the price. They feel amazing as well.

Now looking to get one as a backup, but I think if I do, it will become my main semi
