What's with F8 efficiency?

I have been doing multiple searches trying to find out the REAL average efficiency of the F8. I have read claims that the gun supposedly gets 1500 to 1700 shots off a 68/4500 but then when I read reviews, others are saying 1100 to 1300. I have come across this multiple times. Is there a legit reason for this giant gap? I haven't read anything like this when people review the G3. All the efficiency claims for the G3 are pretty consistent. Am I wrong to assume the FASOR system is more efficient than a spool valve?

Last time I paid any attention to My F8 I easily got 1800 shots off my 68 4500. From the limited reading I've done, it seems the FASOR systems are more effcient then a spool.

Next time out I'll have to REALLY pay attention to it and not just keep refilling everytime I walk off the field.

I love my F8.

Small Block, how broke-in is your gun? The review from Splat Magazine (available online) said the gun straight out of the box got 1530 shots off a 68/4500. Other owners say similar numbers. Xluben posted on PBN that the Fusion is supposed to get 1600-1800+ off a 68/4500. I can understand a 100 round difference but not 200+. Is the FASOR design one that becomes more efficient as it breaks in?

It's pretty well broken in. I've put probably 6 cases through it. But thinking about it now I've got the Alamo City PB del-flo bolt in it too. Not sure how much that's affecting the efficiency.

The one day at practice I shot over a case out of it all on my one 68 4500, but my battery was dying and I wasn't getting full velocity out of the marker part of the time. That day I didn't count as a real good test.

After shooting about too many dry tanks, and throwing a CP reg on it, I'm getting around a hopper and 10-11 pods depending on the paint i'm shooting, but with DxS Field, i'm tuned at 280-285 fps. somewhere in the 1680-1750 range usually

Just the way in which people measure/calculate efficiency can easily account
for a 200 ball difference, or more. Keeping track of all the paint you shoot for
3 or more games and accounting for spilled pods, hot fills, dry firing, etc, etc
makes it pretty tough. And most people that do a sit-down test will not
shoot through a cold, 4500 psi fill. I know I usually do a 500rd bag and
extrapolate from there. It is probably accurate within a pod or so if you do a
decent job at reading the gauge.
