So I was working on my mag and made an interesting discovery.....

Now I have a guess as to what it is, based on where I found it, but I want to know if anyone else has seen these before? Maybe some off our....(clears throats).........senior members..

Isn't that one of those dampeners that go on a QEV to make the hissing noise less annoying? It sure looks like one.

ding ding ding!!!! we have a winner!

well my guess was a filter to act like an anti-siphon valve on CO2. it was screwed into a piece of steel braided hose. next question how successful are they? and do any of you use these?

inline micro filter, screws into line, more for for the breaking up of liquid then the filtering dirty C02, came on the newer mags, Pro-Line used to sell an external one.

Does it work? kind of...just like all the other little tricks we used to "have" to use before HP

Strangely, I found one of these on an old RT Classic I picked up off of ebay. I guess someone didn't want to run HPA.
