DJYELLA posted this photo scan after Hollywood posted Carter Widow Makers photo #204 in Carter photo thread.
DJ was the first person to spot YoungBlood in WidowMaker photo and stated he had a photo as old and posted it photo #213.

Photo is older than Widowmaker photo ,1988 skrimish game, and I took the time to ask DJ who was in photo, seems that he knew a lot of the folks from back in the day and was very polite and helpful in answering my questions.

I reposted photo in Carter Duck thread when DJ was catching a bit of cramp about being a rich cat buying his way into the sport. Which I am glad that I did as a lot of history was added to photo.

GillyMonster suggested that a thread be started about this photo as there was a lot of history in the folks who are in it.

I would like to ask Gilly and DJ to fill us in as they were around back in the day.
Shiba- Kun can also add to this as he was part of the crowd back then.

this photo is around about 1985, maybe 1986, it was on a day that we went and played this team from upnorth, they beat us the first game, they new about a back door through a sewer pipe that they did not tell us about, but after that we spanked that *** all day, the team was called Those Guys, and the brothas was called JUst Us, we also played in the SC village games called The Big Game or something like that, that was when they opened up the whole field 2 play the game, back then it was about 150 per side, mid 80's

When I saw this photo, it was quoted somewhere as being Conquest Malibu Mid 80's. But that background scenery is not the original Conquest (now up to version 4) and your back story Anton confirms what I suspected.
So, do you remember this field being up in the Northern San Fernando Valley?

Im going to go with #9 being a younger Eric Felix.
I may be wrong though but heres some EF info.
He was an early Sudden Death team member, early Ironman (during their 5 year reign), early Image, early GBD, and some others. He's an accomplished Martial Arts expert.
He coached Dynasty and XSV to successes.
PGI Magazine named him Player of the Year in 99 or 2000.
That year he made the finals on two different teams 5/10 man at World Cup.
His father is a producer and shot the camera work in "Push", an old school vid.
He's started up a few PB fields here in SoCal in the last 5 years but they didnt last for different reasons.
His main profession has always been running a hair salon in Beverly Hills.
Dude probably scores like mad..

Isn't #10 Yandell Sr.? Haven't seen him and Junior for years. Great guys, and I have nothing but respect for their family.

#19 and #20 are Earon Carter and Jessica.

#14 I forget his name, it should be obvious... Sudden Death or Wolfpack I think. ARGH. I hate when this happens.

If anybody can name #21 I will bow down in your general direction out of respect for your knowledge of ol skool paintball.

#8 Chris Chavez?
#11 Johnny robinson?
They both look a lot younger than the rest of the people in the pic.

I thought there was already a thread in the Carter section or somewhere where most of the people were already ID'd?
