Search is your friend.

As far as your chrono issue I can't say. It appears mine was set at around 300 from the factory. I got 260's - 290's with one spike up to 305.
Okay, i was referring to the post (in this thread) where the guy got back his 'referb' that had a non-adjustable valve that looked suspiciously similar to the SA-8, in every respect, and he said he'd post pics comparing the relieve valve's of the two. I have been trolling this thread and the other since i saw that post, and there have been no such pics posted as of when i posted this.

And, in point of fact, i do use search, or used to use search, a lot, but discovered that more often than not it was counter-helpful and either brought up nothing (useful anyways), or brought up 3,000 not quite so relevant posts...

Then you weren't specific enough. The posts you replied to had the black nickel t8's that have the normal t8 block and relief valve.

The one you say you were referring to was the t8-R. It stands to reason how someone could misinterpret that post correct?

Also, so i tried to chrono my SA 8 today, and the lowest i could get a reading on the chrono was 319, after that, i backed out the (what i'm assuming is the) velocity screw, and it would not fire. Then it made a very strange burping noise 5 seconds after i pulled the trigger. I tried reinserting the clip after pushing the screw back in a few turns, but still nothing. I've seen where most ppl are saying they had no trouble getting theirs to ~270, but i'm not seeing that happening with mine. Any help please?

I seriously don't think that the re-fire issue was end of 12 gram related as i had only fired MAYBE 6 shots total.
fill in part of the dump chamber. mine dropped about 60 fps when I did it to mine.

Yes, that is the refurb i was referring too, but someone somewhere was going to post picks of the INTERNALS, not just the externals to confirm whether or not the relief valve was changed and whatnot.
