Trade it in?

When you reassemble, are you keeping the bolt forward until you get it assembled, then pushing it back into place when you install the barrel? That's usually the problem, if you keep the bolt all the way back, it's perma-locked behind the sear.

The other issue might be your sears are a little sticky, and the "outer" sear is pulled too far to the left (looking down), so it's not engaging the "inner" sear correctly. You may have work the trigger mechanism a bit to loosen it up, make sure the springs aren't binding, and make sure you're not misaligning the trigger to sear linkage when you reassemble it.

email eric and see if you can still trade in for a normal T8 (you add $50).

you can adjust the reg through the hole facing you on the right side, you should see a brass hex head in there.

that brass hole is velocity, its the regulator, thats how you adjust velocity. eric's contact information is somewhere in this thread, maybe the first page.

If you painted it, then I can assume you had to remove the rear block?
I noticed that if I do not torque the bolts evenly, the gun will not fire at all.

Seems that if the SLIGHTEST amount of uneven threading, and the bolt will bind against the breech, and not move at all when the trigger is pulled.

Actually took me a very long time to figure that out! Other things I discovered was if bits of the trigger system fall out, or out of alignment.... same thing.

SO, those are my 2 guesses.

Do you mean the 4 back bolts? What "bits"?

Yes those 4 back bolts.
When I first took the gun apart, and reassembled, it would not fire at all. Everything seemed fine, except the barrel was very hard to remove/install.

I must have took it apart another 8 times before I pinpointed the problem. The block was slightly crooked causing the bolt to bind.

This is a very easy thing to diagnose- Is the barrel hard to remove? If so, loosen the rear block screws until the barrel is loose, then try to fire. If that was the problem, should fire fine now.

As far as the "bits", I do not know the trigger system very well.

But a few times during reassembly, I'd knock a spring, or something else into the wrong place.

Ok thanks and do you know of any O ring that could be causing the leak out the barrel?
