Does anyone with one of these guns know anything about the pressure relief valve? What is a normal one supposed to look like? It kind of seems like this gun doesn't have one.

EDIT: Ok hold the phone, I believe this is a potentially significant difference between these guns and normal Tac-8s ... the pressure relief valve is different. It is not adjustable and is likely fixed at a pressure that allows firing at much higher than safe field FPS. I am not sure how important of a safety feature that valve is considered on a normal Tac-8.

Also on my model I had the dovertail sights that lock in with a set screw. I guess the anodized models are different?

EDIT EDIT: Here are some pics:

How it looks assembled

Exploded

There's no threading in the bore

Standard Tac-8 for reference

I wouldn't recommend disassembling it if you don't have to, it's not fun to put back together.

Well I hope I get the anodized one and not the powder coated one if they truly are different.

I have 3 powder coated and 1 anodized. I think the powder coated ones have a lower serial number and the anodized ones have a higher serial number. I have 666, 683, 778 and 1215. The 1215 is anodized.
