The new FPS limit taking into account mass difference, would be around 380 FPS, to achieve the same amount of force, but since there is a size difference, 350 FPS would be a bit safer to test with.

of course this is only if GI milsim and friends decide to actually start producing paint...

and I'm guessing the FPS increase is what GI milsim meant to say by "REVOLUTIONIZING Paintball."

other than that, I see no reason not to stay with .68...

GI Milsim paint or the .50 stuff they've been making for years (or the same old stuff, just re-branded GI Milsim)?

There's nothing new about .50, they never stopped making it. But it's not the GI mystery fill that's more dense. Which is what I believe you were asking.

Yea thats essentially what I was asking. I wasn't aware that anyone was making .50 cal of usable quality. All I thought was available at this point was blowgun quality stuff.

Probably about right, based on the testing we all have seen.

It only hurts less if used at 300fps.

My most paintfull hits ever were from SMG-60s that were allowed to run at 340fps.

So if you allowed a 50 to run at 360fps, I would assume it would sting a great deal more. The smaller shape means they will be less likely to break, transfering more of the force into a smaller area.
