| 08sdekim | Gloves?
I have realized that I never owned paintball specific gloves. For all of my paintballing all I ever wore where a set of ragged, old Thor motocross gloves. They have been past their prime for a few years now but still seem to offer me more protection and comfort than any paintball glove I have tried on. So what do you guys prefer to play in? Feel free to make some suggestions!

I'm looking into buying some Fox motocross gloves at a local bicycle shop. Other than that, I used $1 knit gloves.

I've used those, too. Obviously you can't walk a trigger with them on, but for mech guns, they aren't that bad.

Just dont get the gloves that have the plastic armor on the back. The dye will stain your hands black for days once you start sweating.

I used to wear (and I still have) Thunderwear gloves. I wore the versions that had full fingers, except for the tip of the index finger and thumb. They really took the sting out of a back-of-the-hands hit. All told they held up great compared to the average piece of paintball gear. I bought them in 1993, and wear them for R/C flying in cold weather these days. |

I just wear some surplus mortar gloves (kinda like nomex flight gloves, but the leather palm is just stitched to the outside of the glove = no hand staining). They're cheap and a bit on the thick side, which is kinda nice.
