New Tippy gun

Nazi-doodlebug-powered father of all paintball guns patented ? The Register

Anyone know anything about this patent? Using an alternative propellant? It looks like the propane pump gun idea, but running on the 98 frame.

I'm betting it's a propane powered semi-auto concept development prototype. The patent is probably only to protect the intellectual property related to the development and means that a final product is several, if not many years away.

Which got too hot during rapid firing. It was a no go for production.

US Patent number 7,665,396 was granted to Dennis Tippman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, last month!

So this is new?

Is was filed 4 years ago.

It just takes a very, very long time for a patent to be approved.
