I think the idea is solid, 2 barrels, two firing systems. This is obviously a staged photo.

If I were ever build somthing along this idea it would be somthing like theis. Pictue a KP, only the bottom tube is 1" OD and there is a spring feed on both sides. The Sheridan part of the gun would be pnumatilcy opereted (semi auto) In front of the CA sheridan valve there would be a nelson valvetran ( well the two valve would actualy be one but..) No triggger on the nelson, just a pump, set op so that the sear was alway under the pump. The pump wpuld have a pin that triggered the sear when in the forward possition (autotrigger) One could make the sheridan portion DF if they wanted, it would just look better as a sringfeed.

This photo might have been staged but from some where in the dark recesses of my mind I want to say I have talked to some one that used to have one or knew someone that did. I want to say it was from my r.s.p. days. I can't recall the set-up though.

I was at the first (and only) Annual Field Owner's Conference in Columbia S.C. when this gun was introduced. It was a concept idea by Dennis Tippmann using a SMG and a Bushmaster, seemed more for fun than production.
It was introduced as an example of where the sport was heading. This was a functional gun with an air line connecting both guns. The idea was to use the pump for most play but the SMG could be activated by pushing the activation button infront of the SMG with your thumb when action got up close and intense.
The gun created a lot of comment and was presented before any production semi-autos were available. Most comment was negative and delt with too much firepower as I recall. Ahhh for the good old days.

I swear, every time I go to this place I want a new gun! There should be a disclaimer popping up when you click on the forum warning you about the hazard to your wallet! :P
