I generally leave it alone, and hopefully that will keep me from breaking it. But I'll look at it for a bit, hold it, point it at a potted plant or something. I do this with any gun I get.

I can't shoot anything, air, spring, or otherwise in my boro. There are laws prohibiting it.

Since I try ebay alot for differnt interesting items, usually the first real thing I end up doing with a new toy is wondering what on earth ever possessed the prior owner to do whatever idiotic things to it that they did!

ARGH!
I have a mincocker that needs help like no body's business.. Poor thing looks never to have been cleaned. I don't think the guy who had it before me knew what oil was...
and stickers on guns are the bane of my existance!!! Ugh.

It's a cute little thing, but it needs help and some TLC. *pets* Poor little minicocker...

And new grips. The Dye ones look like butt.

Now off to find the goo gone to get that awful sticker goo off the body.

Cockers are great second owner guns. The first owner starts "a little adjustment tuning" and viola it no longer works, then sells it for next to nothing. After purchasing my minicocker I spent a couple of hours desolving the solidified grease ( I think it might have been lubed with lard, crisco , or maybe toejam) and timing it. Then it was off to the backyard to take out the evil oaktree. Somehow the evil oaktree is always the reciprecant of all my marker tryouts no matter what time of the day or night.

Typically my new markers get blessed with holy water, then wiped off and annointed with oil, Like a baptism.
Then as a final part of the ceremony I take either a blade or talon and I show it to the markers as both a sacrifice and a threat.
"Look well at this poor excuse for a paintball gun" I say to the new gun.
"If you ever fail me, this is what I'm gunna do to you!"
Then I crush the blade or talon with my bare hands and toss it into a bon fire.
Then the ceremony is over.

My religion doesn't classify the Talon or Blade as actual paintball guns, therefore they are not given the honor of a Νέα τελετή πυροβόλων όπλων σφαιρών χρωμάτων (Greek - New Paintball Gun Ceremony)
Instead they are sacrificed with the hopes that they might be reincarnated via the melting process into something usefull, like some plastic 45 grips, or maybe a hopper shell.
