What do you guys think of this?

Just thought I'd showcase something I put together this evening.

What the hell is it? Well, it's a target. But not just any target...

It allows you to shoot paint in, without all that nasty splatter that comes with target practice in your backyard.

So, how does it work?

Well, you shoot into this pretty little circle, which is basically a piece of screen with an 8-piece-of-pie hole cut into it. Right behind it, there's another piece with a cross in it. This allows the paint to go right through, and it will catch any spray that comes forward.

BUT HOW IS THAT GOING TO STOP ALL OF THAT SPLATTER?

It won't. So, I've devised another plan for a way around this.

Further inside, you will find 3 layers of screen, cut sort of like that crap that hangs down at an old, "I don't feel like getting out of my car" car wash.

Basically, these hang down and prevent most of the splatter from reaching the front.

That's basically it. My girlfriend wanted to decorate it, so we spray bombed it yellow, and painted a face on it, and named it "BALL MUNCHER!"

More pics:

Opinions?

may be more for tuning than accuracy and especially if you have a small city yard and dont want paint all over your trees.

I would high recommend some way of draining the paint out. That stuff gets real thick and nasty. I know I sure didn't like cleaning paint out of the chrono range.
We usually shot paint into the bottom of a traffic cone with some nails at the end.

Personally, I would've added more hanging bits inside.

Very Pacman-esque.

Conrad, it is going to be used outside. It's to cut down on the splatter around the yard. I'm 18 and live at home, and my mom doesn't like her things being covered in orange or yellow splatter most of the time.

In terms of grouping, you can easily see right inside of it. Sure it's only about a foot wide and tall, but it's good enough that you can see where they are grouping up.

This is more of a tester in terms what I want to do with it, but I figure it's a good start for stopping all the mess.
