Mythical creature sighting 2! The H8TR arrives!

Got mine some 4 years after paying for it.

I must say the fit and finish of the marker seems to be very tight. The anno is a nice black dust, and the regulator stock was included.

So far as I know, this is the second of the regular production models to make it out of Dave's garage. It's serial number 00113. Lucky 13. I'll have to make some custom jewels for it.

On to the eye candy...

This is a beefy beast. Not for the faint of heart. Hopefully it has that same Vector bark when you fire it.

I'll air up as soon as I figure out how I want to plumb it, and give a report in the reviews section.

Awesome! Is this a result of you writing him a letter or did he just send it?

I sent a legal letter. The package arrived 2 days after the registered receipt came back.

The H8TR is a remake of the "muscle car" of paintball guns from the early 90's, known as the Vector. They were really great guns, way ahead of their time, but the initial production run had some issues, and even though the company retrofitted the bad guns, the damage had been done and they never really sold well.

One of the machinists from the original company secured the rights to produce a custom run of remakes, and ran into various and sundry problems getting them out the door. It's been a long haul, but at least I have a product in my hands. We'll see how well it works after I have a chance to fire it up.

Is the trigger guard not anno'ed, or is it just an optical delusion?

Seems weird that 2 days after the letter it would be complete assembled and ready to go..but...that's probably not the weirdest thing about these!
