It's personal preference to run a beavertail or not on any Sniper or Autococker.

I personally will blast myself in the face with the back block if I don't have it there to remind me of my boundaries.

Now-a-days no fields really know about thumbing a cocking rod so most probably care less if you have it or not

If you put pressure on the rod that sticks out the back when firing, it'll give a velocity boost.
