Well, I'd put it on but I dunno if I wanna deal with this loctite mess. Afraid I will mess it up or something. Its a bitch to turn it too, even if I applied heat because there is nothing to hold onto the rod.

But it would be the same with the hitman mod. I could still use the pump to pump and the hitman with my fingers when I want? I think it wouldn't really matter or is it harder to pump like normal with the hitman mod on?

I don't think it wold be any more difficult to put regularly with the hitman mod, unless your hand hangs off the back of the handle when you pump regularly.

Yeah, having an issue with taking the loctite off. I tried heating it and burnt the tip of my thumb trying to unscrew it. I just bought some (to put it back on for the hitman) and it says I gotta eat it up for 5 mins at 450 degrees.

Any ideas?

stick it in a pot of boiling water and wear leather gloves so you won't burn yourself...

1.) Stick Pump Plate and Pump Rod into Boiling Water (make sure to wear leather gloves)
2.) Unscrew Pump Rod (make sure to wear leather gloves)
3.) Screw Pump Rod into Hitman Plate
4.) $$$ Profit $$$

I don't have leather gloves. Hard to get a good grip. Just melted my paintball gloves lol

Going to try to boil it like ya said. How long ya think I should do it?

Seriously, you are "nuking" it as we say in the navy. This is really a quite simple process now....

Nuking would be the microwave. Boiling it and hopefully can get the dang thing off. Only thing is its hard to turn since the rod there is no good place to turn it.

Do you have a Lowes,,, Home Depot or Hardware store near by ??? You can get some cheap leather gloves there... Boil for a couple of minutes or until it is easy to unscrew...

I just came from Lowes and don't wanna go back again. Plus it is boiling right now, don't wanna leave it.

I guess I will go and get some. Hey, do you know what is best to get the residual off? I'm assuming to do that so the new loctite will hold better.

With the loctite being still warm you should just be able to wipe it off with a towel... Don't worry about reapplying blue loctite to the threads of the pump rod... I don't run any on mine and I have had no problems...
