PT CA Conversion

I'm trying to convert a PT Enforcer to CA and I need to seal the cap for the 12g. I would like to be able to convert it back to a pistol so got some teflon tape for gas fittings, but I can't seem to seal it? Any advice? As far as I know the Zeus and Overlord had the came 12g setup so solutions for those guns should work too.

most conversions i've seen use a dummy 12g with a 1/8 npt hole for a CA hose.

I've seen that with lever change pistols, but I don't think the bottom line kits come with a dummy 12g.

This is why I prefer the PT Jr. over all from that line of pistols. It has that small plug in front of the trigger guard so you screw in a bottom line. In fact I just put one on this week and was surprised how a 3.5oz doesn't mess up the weight too much. Does anyone know if the valve on the Enforcer similar in shape and location to the PTX or PT Jr. ? Maybe you could just drill and tap the body like they did on the other 2 models to put a bottom line and swap it for a plug when you want to run on 12gs?

Heeeey lookie, lookie. I found an old page with some PT Enforcer info and it has pics to boot! The valve looks different but from the pics, i think you have the hole to put a fitting or you can try another mod suggested at this page.

The quick change knob is actually threaded with ASA threads! Although the o-ring will not seal the connection (the inside of the 12-gram receiver is too large for it to seal), this should make constant air mods to the gun extremely simple. Note that the hole on the bottom of the body will need to be plugged though (haven't had a chance to figure out the thread size of the hole, and we're still not entirely certain what it's meant for, unless it has something to do with the Weaver accesory rail...)

I used the threaded hole with the brass plug with the flathead screwdriver slot. I had it tapped for a 1/8 npt vertical CA (had one lying around, probably from a Piranha) because the threading was non-standard, but it goes into the chamber that holds the 12, not directly into the valve. There was also a tiny threaded hole between the grip and that brass plug that I sealed with a 3mm set screw covered in teflon tape for gas fittings.

My problem now is sealing the cap for the 12g. Do you have pics of your setup?

I'll edit this and get pics up tonight.

For the moment this is all I have on the computer. Ill take more this evening. In my case all I did was drop a used 12g and screw the cap all the way in. Since your cap is ASA threaded, maybe you can buy a plug or just put some teflon tape on the cap threads to prevent any leaks?

I recall getting an oversized O ring from the Hardware Store.
