could replacing the board fix this cuz i was wanting the tadao board but i dont want to buy it if it dont fix it

yeah, but if it wasn't the board then you wasted your money. i have years old spyders that still use original boards.

sundragon sells capacitors if you know how to solder and stuff so you don't spend money on a whole new board. Electronic Parts & Components

if you're in a hurry you can try slip a dime or 2 under the solenoid and see if it works here:


but that wears out your sear faster so yeah.

otherwise i still say get a brand new 9.6v battery and one of those new wall chargers with an indicator light, because combined they're probably still cheaper than a board and you would eventually need a new batt anyway.

try either a new board or new batt and charger when you have the money lol.

it's up to you at this point.

but ideally you can have a 2nd spyder to swap batteries with and find out whether the board or the batt broke.

replace the capcitor and do not charge the battery through the grip frame again.
