yeah i don't think most buyers even use first strike regularly enough to want a decrease in consistency for normal paint.

they can just mod it themselves maybe.

what's the breech for a phantom? anyone got it to work for a phantom?

Agreed. I think everyone interested in getting one would prefer to have the highest performance in standard paintballs. First strikes are great, but I wouldn't want to sacrifice performance to use some fancy rounds once in a blue moon. Like I said I DO use them, but only in my T8.1 which will always be with me regardless.

I like the idea of a FS compatible breach as an accessory down the road. This way the people that don't plan on using them won't lose consistency and efficiency, and those that do have the option as well.

First strikes are nose heavy so they don't feed as well in breech drops as they will in bore drops. So you could make a small bore breech drop body,
and if enough people were interested a bore drop First Strike feedport body with the larger bore and extended bolt as an option/upgrade kit.

daze, the valve related improvements will be tested, yes. all parts not previously proven out get tested in custom test fixtures. us experienced engineers do not, ever, screw around

Double feed city, and a pinch of paint is where you're headed with that. Just like the Redux.
Best to make it a ledgit closed bore.

not quite sure what you mean by that.... breech drops (nelson, phantom) dont usually double feed unless aimed at the ground, and only then if the ball is considerably smaller than the breech. in a .685 breech, most paint will be fine, and if cocking the gun mostly level, no problems. I could make the breech .680 but it would be a bit tight for big paint. the tighter barrel will still prevent rollouts, and double feeding shouldnt be an issue in most cases. the redux pinches paint because of the moving feed, a design I would never, ever, use.

and yea guys, accessories will become available quickly after these things come out, I'll try to get some pump handles available with em too.

If all else fails, a detente can be incorporated into it. Had to do it with my Nelly, and ASP designed an oring mod to help deal with double feeds on the Phantom.
