I don't have a Carter, but I tend to have similar thoughts. If I heard that Mike was shutting down CCI you bet I'd be buying up several sets of internals and lots of spares....(of course, I seem to end up repairing a lot of older Phantoms for others... so spare internals make sense to me....)

Actually, I'm surprised you didn't pick up a handful of #6 power tubes. THEY would be an investment after a time.
