I almost demand an explanation for how the rod sheared in the first place. I'm guessing the barrel was off, allowing the pump handle to be forcefully rotated resulting in the shear.

At any rate, figure out how this happened and make sure it never happens again...or buy a more robust kit/gun.

i sent him a new rod since i have a trilogy pump kit sitting around that was not getting used for a spyder pump project. it looks like the rod does not come back to straight right at the pump handle since there is only a 1/2 before the pump handle and after the bend for the trilogy ram. definately a problem. would be easier to grind that off and just use a straight rod
