Then never go back.

i'm tired of talking to the owner, i've already told him on numerous occasions. I gave their insurance company a call and left a message. I will call back soon if I don't hear back from them. And I found a good field 10 minutes from my house... looks like i found my new home field, vs this unsafe one which is 25 minutes away with ****ty paint.

logo of insurer should be printed on the waivers they use. no cia/apl/nsera logo, no insurance.

That waiver doesn't protect them as much as you or they think.

To not have a chronograph is gross negligence and against the industry standard. It leaves them wide open for a lawsuit.

It's easy to get to court and there is plenty of supporting evidence that paintball is defined as shooting 300fps or less. IE, if you were shot hot, then you weren't even playing the game you signed a waiver for.

I say file an insurance claim and rods from god.

We used to have our insurance through CPL, which was the Canadian arm of APL. Not only did they not have their logo on the waiver, they didn't want field owners advertising that they had insurance. That just ups the chance of someone filing a lawsuit, if they know there is an insurance company with deeper pockets in the picture.

i'm going to keep talking to the insurance. because i have pics of the welts (which i wil show you guys soon when i upload) one was from 50 feet away, and the other was from 30 feet away. and both were shot in spots where i had a thick bdu jacket on and a shirt or an elbow pad given the spot. and the welts look like i got shot from 5 feet away. granted if i had gotten bunkered, i would not mind, because it's the game. however, given that it was from those distances, it really disturbs me the extent of the welts.

the shot on the left was from about 30 feet away or more. and it popped in a location that was covered by both elbow pads and a thick bdu jacket. the one on the right had been from over 50 feet away and was hit and popped where my jacket and my tshirt was. granted, like I said, if it were due to me being bunkered, i wouldn't mind. However, due to how far away I was from the players during the time of receiving the hits, it really disturbs me.
