I wear a Commando SportKilt in Multicam (US Army Multi Camo Sport Kilt ) ... I also wear Dye Slider Shorts underneath and Kali Protectives Aazis Soft Knee Pads ( Kali Protectives Aazis Soft Knee Guards, Pair ) ... For my Sporran (which also acts as "Junk" Protection) it's a Milspec Monkey Admin Pouch ( Holds 10 round tubes nicely )... Sock Garters are my Clan Tartan ( Clark ) ... All I know is that if someone is wearing a kilt on the field using "proper regulation dress code" then I'm sure as hell not going to be playing behind them when they're hunkered down behind a bunker..... When I was in Scotland a few years ago I stopped into a shop in Edinbourgh to find out a bit about kilts. I mentioned that I may be interested in getting one and the teller asked if I wanted the sporan, socks and shoes with it. I just looked at him and said "Of course! A man in a kilt without all the rest of the stuff is just another guy in drag!".... The cost of an outfit was quite a bit beyond the "mad money" budget. And that wasn't even the full on proper kilt done by the big names. Those are hellishly heavy since a proper kilt uses a full 13 yards of material due to the pleating and done in the better wools and with the proper tartan for a specific house cost around $1000 before the sporan, socks, knife, shoes, belt and proper dinner jacket and frilly front shirt.

My Tactical Sporran and my Dress Sporran (Big Difference in cost,,, form and function)  This is my full proper dress set-up and my Kilt is a 6 yard Kilt in heavy weight worsted wool that is a Ancient Tartan ( there is not a modern Tartan for my Clan ),,, the 13 yard would be a "Great Kilt" and I don't have the patience to lay that out and do all the pleats... I have about $1600 in my Proper Dress Set-Up...  WK2
