Haven't tried it out yet. Need some paint. Shouldn't be long though before I get some tests done, I'll have a video soon. Either it will work well, or break paint.

What is it?

Kermit 04-15-2011 10:28 PM

My attempt at a backspin barrel.

Looks like you'll break a lot of paint...

That plastic is VERY thin and soft. It gives easily. We'll have to see. In theory it works...in practice well, not sure yet.

you have rediscovered old tech.

i heard a guy who heard a guy who heard people used to stick a thin strip of duct tape at the top of the barrel tip for the effect.

this seems easier to check whether it has fallen off. what's the material you are using?

alpha434 04-15-2011 10:36 PM

It's upside down....

Kermit 04-15-2011 10:36 PM

Materials used-

PVC
Plastic strip cut off a shampoo bottle
Pony Tail holder, thanks to my little sister.

this makes me wonder, is it really soft enough and dull enough to not cut a ball? the results should be interesting.
