Has anybody used the IFit kit like this yet?

So i have been taking a look at these little insert systems that you thread your main barrel into, but has anybody tried shooting with just the little kit with no main barrel on the end? and are the inserts even long enough to get the paintball up to velocity when you fire it? i wonder.....

seeing how the I-fit is sort of a second generation python kit, and the python kits could be fitted with a snub nose tip, yes you could play with a very short barrel sort of close quarters setup.
You probably wouldn't want to run with just the I-Fit system alone since the bare threading may cause an issue.

IMO long barrels (12", 14" etc..) are over rated

There are some C-series tips for Evil barrel backs about an inch long. Ive used just a back with that tip on it for a game. Very loud. Also, you can get stiffi barrels specially made at lengths down to 2in I believe. Those are also Evil threaded and can use the C-series tips.

You have to put a tip on the iFit in order to hold the insert in...otherwise you will shoot it out the barrel...

It also may be hard to get up to the desired velocity with such a short barrel. Although I'm sure it would sound AWESOME lol...

does the under 2 inch rule apply to barrels aswell? ;)

It should work. Ifit "female" end is autococker, 2" barrel "male" end is autococker threaded. Or am I missing something?
