I won't ever forget knee pads again... Yesterday, our local field hosted a scenario game. Badass theme (Corrupt Bankers v. Evil Corporation). Unfortunately, i only played for 15 minutes and got to spend the rest of my day in the ER. Wore this: http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...9/P1010052.jpg 15 minutes in the game took a dive to a bunker (actually I tripped) and ended up with a laceration on the knee along with some bruised tendons. All because i didn't wear kneepads. I have to walk in a stupid immobilizer for a couple days now. So wear pads. Your knees will love you for it. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...e1029/suit.jpg http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...e1029/xray.jpg http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...e1029/knee.jpg |
thats very unfortunate |
eh. hopefully it'll be healed up before the next scenario in Bearclaw, TN. Anyway, I was more pissed off about wasting my whole day and my money, including the suit. |
thats sucks man. As equally important as a mask for protection are knee pads and a cup. Feel better. |
Forgot to mention. I wore that shirt for the occasion. |
That T-Shirt makes it worth it. I mean, can you think of a better time to wear it? |
nice shirt... when i broke my arm at a large skirmish scenario i was "helped" by a chick with a very large rack. her shirt read: "made you look". i told her several times how much she helped me get through my injury... |
Ah that sucks man. At least you looked classy doing it though haha. |
