I am pretty sure they still do. Tippmann Industrial Products I don't know how I feel about these because you can easly find surplus real us army tents. But then a company that makes sewing machines probably knows how to make a tent.

You figure Tippmann is making these themselves?
I thought that like the rest of the US Army line they were made in China and had the Tippmann name slapped on them.

Agreed. I've seen this tent design elswhere without the usarmy branding. I'm sure its just a pre-existing, cheap chinese tent with a logo slapped on.

Out of curiosity, did Tippmann get permission to slap the US Army logo on everything and anything? Putting aside any feelings about endorsement of a recreational product by a Federal Agency (at least Markers I can understand), this kinda seems to be reaching it as far a tenuous connections.

Now that I think about it, its much more like a Sponsorship deal, like they do for some of the Nascar races. Wonder what the actual business relationship is?

I wouldnt mind checking out one of the tents. I'm curious as to what a "gear loft" is...

But for the price... they'd have to be pretty decent...

now that i think about it, i can't remember the last time i CAMPED at an event...

A gear loft should be a small hammock-like shelf at the top of the tent for small items.

I am very sure that this is a rebranded Eureka Pentagon or something similar. I used one last summer, and a rather small storm absolutely destroyed it.

The pole that crosses out to create the half vestibule is a rather cheep thin graphite pole.

After seeing the thing about a gear loft, I am sure that this is a eureka of some sort, and they do contract out tents to the military.

I am waiting for Sup-Air to make tents, those things would be awesome!

That is correct. It's a Eureka/some other contractor USMC combat tent in Army colors.
