Wasn't the problem with that gun that it was borderline functional? I think it played off of the inherent "fartiness" of the nightmare valves and turned them into blowbacks.

Anyways, if someone is going to make a doc about the founding figures in paintball they should do it sooner rather than later. Hate to say it, but some of em are getting on in years.

A paintball documentary could be really cool, especially pre 1990 since not much is widely known about the teams and gun development from then

No, WGP served one of those companies making cocker clones.... but the point of the claim was that WGP "invented" the cocker.

Thats when Glenn and Craig wrote letters telling those companies that the claims are worthless..... since everyone knows the Hurricane predates the Cocker by 2 years.

Then WGP took the odd route of trademarking the cocker "look". They realized that they have no patents.... and nothing they could patent since they have done nothing original. Then tried to stop those companies for using a moving backblock....

Kingman actually did something similar to the companies making spyder-clones. Never mind that the spyder was a Promaster clone.

I need to interject that you don't 'talk to' Glenn Palmer, you get 'talked at' by Glenn Palmer.

(those that know him know what I'm talking about)

But he does have LOTS of fascinating stories. Just make sure you don't have anywhere to be.

Yup. The Chemist and I sat there for prolly a few hours chatting and listening to his stories. It was definitely a good campout.

Bit of a gradedig, but in what manner specifically was the gun stolen? It's been a while (I thought it was around like 04, even longer ago that I realized) but I always thought Camille was stolen out of Glenn's vehicle at a major scenario game, someone busted the window, took it, and took off. I vaguely remember some guy on PBC (paintball city - Jim Murray's old board) adamantly swearing that some friend of Jeff Orr's did the actual deed and said guy heard that from an ex girlfriend of that guy who bragged about it couple years later (someone may even remember the thread). I forget where the gun was when stolen though...
