BTY, who made the Bushmaster?
Line Si made the Bushmaster, i think they eventually turned into ICD, and ICD is no longer in paintball, but they do still sell stuff on occasion if you call and ask

Go for a Line SI Bushmaster if you want to experience true Nelson glory. The bore drop and parallel pump arms make for a much smoother stroke than even a well-built undercocking breech drop, like a Phantom or Comp. They're workhorses, but they work.

Moohahahahahah! All the way from Finland, an "everything but the speed-changer" stock Nellie has found her way to me.

And now, the tuning begins!

I'm more of a Sheridan guy, I enjoy stacked tubed guns.

That said, I LOVED my phantom. It was up there in my list of favorite guns. I wish I still had it, one of the trades that I regret taking. It came completely apart in a few minutes whereas a Sheridan takes about a good half hour to take completely apart, clean, and reassemble. There isn't a quick strip bolt other than the Gargoyle, which is the ideal nelson in my opinion.

I think they each have their advantages. If you can't get a Nelson working right, you probably can't get any gun working right. CJ nailed it when he said they are the AK's of paintball.

I am a Sheridan guy. Although I have no brass now (I do miss having brass) I love autococker style pumps which are basically sheridans. I also like nelsons, I don't think I'll ever get rid of my phantom. I just like stacked tube and the quirky-ness of sheridans (and autocockers).

I'm about 50/50 I think. Just looking at my stuff, I seem to have a pretty nice balance between Nelsons and Sheridans. I'd have a hard time choosing only ONE to stick with, that's for damn sure.

It's probably why I usually have one of each out on the fields with me, I honestly don't think I could decide between the two.

Same here. For a long time, I didn't like stock class Sheridan's. I prefered them in Open Class and Nelson's in Stock Class. Now, I'll take either in Sheridan (really depends on the setup) but still prefer my Nelson's in Stock Class. However, if it's in a stock, I really prefer a Sheridan.

Do what you want man, I just picked up a KP2 last night, it's my first sheridan and I already love it. Doesn't mean I'm gonna sell my pink phantom though.

That looks like the knob off of a Challenger drop out valve, if so... very quick. IMHO second only to the short change.
