I play pump because I love the feel of the gun. its so cool to feel the "click" "click" of the pump stroke, and solid feel of the trigger. its hard to explain but it feels if the shot is more "me" then just stroking a trigger for a bunch of rounds.

What is the MAIN reason you like it so much better?

It pisses off a lot of semi and electro players when they get hit by a few shots from a pump player like me.

Is it the pump action/feel of the pump guns or cost to play?
Both. If I had to pick one, it'd be the pump action/feel of the pump markers b/c I feel that I'm actually doing something other than just sitting their spraying and praying.
I play more aggressively, move around more, pick my shots, and I only use about 200-300 pbs after 6 hours of playing.

Its cheaper, and I get a bigger adrenalin rush making some bigger moves to make up for having less fire power.

Intimidation, every time i go to different fields, most there think im the best player ever when i walk up playing with a pgp, phantom or any old sniper. Allways playing against 50% walkons that havent played more than a few games, evens the field a bit and feels so good when you tag someone shooting an ego or something raping out 13bps.

Plus its fun playing with my phantom, i love the sold thunk it makes when i fire one off, plus i couldnt shoot more than one bag of paint in a full day unless i was just randomly shooting at things other than people.

Playing with a pump gun is more fun, and I play paintball to have fun. Every kill feels deserved, like you worked for it.

Well, it makes me think about movement more than shooting, thats the big one, with pump I usually play tighter, and try to longball less. With a semi I tend to get lazy and play loose and longball because I can afford to (something I need to work on) Not to mention, you always get the funniest looks from walk ons when carrying a phantom.

I do not see the cost dropping. I got into pump to save money on paint. Now i am so addicted i want ever pump gun i see. It has turned me on to hoarding. But i play stock class with my phantom so i have a light setup. I LOVE this for speedball. It kicks *** in snake. It has also helped my overall skills and not getting tunnel vision.

Less money spent on paint= more money for gun hoarding
