For a Mechanical marker I'd suggest an Azodin. They run Co2 VERY well and they are all pretty inexpensive for what you get. They also handle very much like a modern tournament style marker.

Another good option is the Smartparts Vibe/SP-1. Great Co2 guns as well.

If you are considering a mech I'm going to toss out a vote for an Alley Cat. I had one as a backup I had to break out recently and they really do shoot great. Nice and smooth and fairly quiet and surprisingly good efficiency. It's hard to believe that Tippmann stayed in business when ICD did mech blowbacks so much better.

well for anything i decide, price and uniqueness is king, the reason i'm considering a closed bolt, mech ion is because of 'how many people do you know of that own a mech, closed bolt ion', spyders and the such are so common, may have to look into an older type marker that not many people own

Well its going to total about 150 or so for the closed bolt/mech ion thing i was intrested in, so in reality about 200 if i cant get any of my paintball stuff sold, IF i can get my rotor and a few items i dont use anymore sold, i might be looking into some of the nicer ones.

Well i just randomly stopped at a pawnshop and found an old automag (that has been painted) for 15 bucks, i figured it wouldnt work, so i got home and aired it up and it leaks down the barrel (not in the good way) but still fires, though i am kinda stumped because i tore it all apart after and all the orings look fairly new, are rather soft and all lubed up and it still leaks, guess this will be my new project to figure out how this automag thingamabob works (my first automag, never shot one before).
