90 gram co2, what?

haha, i just saw this:

Walmart.com: JT 90 Gram Prefilled CO2 Tank, 2pk: Hunting

and this:

Walmart.com: JT 90 Gram Tank Adaptor: Hunting

So... you can turn a 90 gram co2 into a tank for a gun. Seems awkward. Has anyone tried this? I'm assuming whoever has tried this hasn't stuck with it, but honestly, is this pointless or is it just me?

12g for pistols, sure, but 90g and you have to use it with tank threads, just seems so illogical that I can't believe it exists. Thoughts? (Honestly, why not just get a co2 tank? You can refill that, but not this.)

For places that don't have CO2 fills I guess. 2 90g tanks would probably give you more then enough for a weekend of light outlaw games. For the low price of 10 bucks, that aint too shaby.

When I was about 12 and played, I couldnt handle the gun very well so I used these. It was easier, but other than that I dont see the point, except for lack of places to fill.

these are the same as the ones walmart use to sale, they were red and blue and I think they were called Air Source. I've still got the adapter in my field bag.

I played with these the first year i started playing. Great for when its just you and a friend on some 'outlaw' (read with permission) playing. Didnt get as many shots though with my Spyder clone.

These remind me of the prefilled 4 oz tanks they sold at the Sports Authority in my town. I think they still have them. Only really useful for when you can't get your tanks filled before a day of outlaw ball.

They scare me. I can't believe they were ever ASTM certified (or are they?).

I have used these alot. Sheridan made a short run of air rifles that used these. They are also refillable if you are lucky enough to have one of these. It is an on/off valve built by Cooper-T.
