sweetest little HPA tank ever!

I've been a scuba diver since I was a teenager, so when I first saw the 13ci and 22ci 3000psi tanks, I immediately recognized them as the two sizes of the scuba model spareair.
Recently, I was shopping for one of these when I saw that spareair had a new model for watersports, kayaking and whatnot that fit on a little chest pack.

So here it is, in all it's hydroed 3000psi glory,
The World's smallest HPA tank!

I called and the bare tank will run $140, that's rough but the field where I play gives free air fills so I'm tempted. I forgot to ask the volume but I would guess 6 to 8ci, SWEET!!!
The 13ci contains approximately 30 breaths at the surface, the 22ci around 57 breaths at the surface and the small one is 10-15.

You can see it at The Spare Air Xtreme Sport, for Extreme Water Sports including kayakers, surfers, river rafters and jet skiers

He did say they have bulk pricing once he found out I was a paintballer.

I'm buying it without the valve, a normal regulator for paintball will fit right on there.
It's the same construction as the 13ci and 22ci tanks.

I think it might be even more interesting to replace the reg with a co2 pin valve. You'll get more shots for the volume. Nice find! Hopefully these will come into vogue eventually.

For the jump in price over a 3.5oz no thanks!
As an HPA though, it definitely looks fun, setup like this:

it will make my pistol more fun in the winter!

30 breaths for spare air? I really don't see that happening. For one, that would be used as a last resort, due to your main tank being out of air, which 9/10 times the diver freaks out. They would consume a whole bunch of air quickly. I really don't see 30 breaths coming from that.

Remember, with most HPA regs, that tank will be almost as long as a 3.5oz. A co2 valve would make the entire package more effective. It would be smaller and would give more shots.

Is the OD larger then 2"? If not, it would be nice since rehydro isn't an issue.
I could really see it mounted vertically on a pump. Good in cold weather

I think that HPA tanks still need hydro bud.

Either way - cool stuff man!
