I think that SS hose is a very sharp looking alternative, unfortunately, its not very available for flexible purposes.

tahts the problem with the industy now peopels sell "macro" line that is LP high flow when you need HP low flow (low being releative, you wont get shoot down at all)

but in all seriousness keep an eye on your hands and if you still have pain/discomfort for a while get to an ER (espicaly if you feel light headed or chest pains) no matter what "experanced" palyers and airsmiths say, air can get into your skina nd blood stream with out cutting your skin and result in internal cutting and getting air in bad places in your body.

I had my macroline blow on me three days in a row. I'm guessing that my tank output is set a little high, but I've switched to SS braided line on my Sniper II. On my other guns, it's SS or Microline. Macroline has only made it onto my seldom-used cocker.

You're pretty lucky you didn't get an air embolism. That's why I'll never use anything but ss.

ya people have gotten embolisms from just being shot with a blank air rifle so 800-1000 psi can definatly do it quick and easy

heck a guy got hit with a blast of air at a bottle factory (sub 250 psi ) and got a cut inside from his finger to his wrist and the external cut was liek .5 inch long

that happened to a co-worker of mine. a 4500 reg was creeping, and while checking for leaks his ear was close(not right next to but close enough)to the airline. no permanent damage was caused, but he didn't get his hearing back to normal in his ear for almost a week. it was scary. any time macro has burst on me has been from a tank that was creeping(or stupid people that don't want to spend $1 on a new piece of macro to replace their scratched/gouged macro, but I don't consider them in this). we normally see about 1 a month at work.

edit: also steel braided line while it doesn't burst often, it is very bad when it does.
