I have no problem playing in the colder weather, but the rest of the people around me seem to... Every year it's the same thing, a lot of big talk about winter ball and nothing ever happens. It's a damn shame, really.

I'm in the Bismarck area, and as far as I knew we've already frosted twice, but I may be mistaken. The local field is Three Brothers Paintball.

It was a downright gorgeous day today, but unfortunately the field only operates every other weekend... Up here in the sticks there just isn't enough people investing in paintball to have an every weekend field.

We try to play all year (and we're in northern Sweden, so we get proper winter), but it's definitely hard to get groups of players together.

Yup. Snow is a PITA. but it works wonders for the first few games if you have white camo. lol

in winter, i wear urban camo, its about 50/50 white and dark colors. but it works well in the snow. i even made snow camo shrouds for my scenario guns.

the only thing i dont like about playing in snow is when it gets warm out and everything ends up getting wet. that and when the snow hides the hole in the ground or the log you are about to trip over.

Exactly. My season is kicking off on the 8th, but if it weren't poring rain this weekend I could probably go. Highs are right at 90* starting on Friday, time to play at a regular field.
