My dog in this fight is worth about $150 to me. And at this time, putting that much more into it, and hoping to get that back, well, I dont have the time and funds to chase it down.

if it comes back, Im not going to complain. Heck, Ive offered Lee to end the contract (what verbal agreement there was), pay for shipping, and just be done with one whole customer. No word back on that offer...

Blood from a turnip really is how it is going to be.

It's already in the works. I have his work address, home address, and lisence plate number even. Another guy on this site paid the sheriff to serve Lee, he got the papers last Friday.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Get together any receipts, emails, etc you have from Lee. Shortly, on this site, there will be a link posted, and a case number you can reference BEFORE you contact the officer in charge of this. It will help everyone involved immensley if we all reference the same case, and police officer to start. Trust me, Lee is gonna get his. Pay attention to this site. As I said, another member of this site has done more than I, but I'll be suing Lee when I can actually appear in court in OR (about 2 months). Just get everything you have together, and be ready.

Talking You can make a turnip bleed if you cut it enough

Azzy,
Just file the IC3.gov complaint. That is free and doesn't cost a thing. If enough people so it, which from my count, a bunch already have, they will go after him. You take what he owes you - 150$ and tack it onto what he owes other people and it adds up - enough to make them do something and they will!
I understand you don't want to deal with it because of time and money, but the IC3.gov is free and to let him get away with it, out of principal, is intolerable. This is a community and we take care of each other and watch out for each other and we don't let bullies like Lee get away with ripping people off.

Honestly Azzy, I hear ya, but giving up because its only $X and because you don't have time is what he's expecting and counting on. Don't give him what he wants. I'm not

A thought on the gear he has laying around. There was a move to a new shop and years to accumulate all those markers from customers. There is a good chance he couldn't match markers to owners for a mass send back if he wanted to do that. I get pictures in my mind of markers laying in dark places with no paperwork or addresses associated with them. There may simply be no way for him to know who all of them came from.

This is highly likely to be true.

So? That's still no excuse. If he was really committed to getting them back, he'd have posted up on the numerous forums we know he'd frequented in the past, or on his website, of a list of what he has that he doesn't know who to send back and got it sorted that way.

So? Did I suggest that this is an excuse? I'm all for those defrauded to file reports. I'm surprised no one has tried small claims court yet. My observation was simply that there is probably a huge pile of guns in his possession that have no identifying tags attached to them and that he has no idea who owns what. This does not imply or suggest, on my part, that he's trying to resolve anything.
