Well done Carter. Can this be stickied so we can refer to it as needed ? I never A/T my Phantom, till I bought a CCM... Now I do it out of habit. With mixed results... the mix usually drips out the end of my barrel.

Thats what I was talking about. Aside from that & the regulator acting as a check valve its S/C. Even IF I can make the M-CA not as a check valve the reg will still act as one. What about a class just a step after S/C toward open that would allow something little like that, 3.5oz tank or small 40-50 round hopper? Didnt one of the other sets of rules have something along those lines for a modded S/C? Rereading that before I hit submit it sorta seems like Im whining.... oh well, just asking a question & trying a small idea on the table.

Wouldn't that simply fall under open class? I see what was presented as: 1. Vintage Stock Class (strictly old school rules) 2. Modern Day Stock Class (the new proposal) 3. Open Class Pump (any pump configuration not covered by 1 or 2) I think Carter's intent to keep things simple is the way to go. There are probably dozens of slight variations/exceptions that folks can come up with to squeeze into "stock class", but why try? The new plan seems fair. Surely we can all make any small changes to our current set ups to meet the requirements. Yeah? And I thought there was a "house rules" caveat thrown in there somewhere, so if the person/group running the game wants to go modified stock with specific changes allowed so be it. Small hopper, limited paint, 3.5 oz tank. Or just call that open class and go have fun. Quote:

Blew my mind. I no longer feel like a lost child rejected by all types of players except other phantom owners.

Not to be more of a PITA than usual... But what about those of us that prefer pump Mags? The one small modification to eliminate the whole "inconvenient semi" thing of a PA marker with an AT would be... If the marker has an AT, then the pump stroke must be at least one ball diameter. If the marker does *NOT* have an AT then the pump stroke may be of any length. Simple, straight forward, allows pump Mags and eliminiated PA/AT's markers... Then again, I could be tired and solving non existant problems ![]() Ty
