How is the pump stroke compared to the r7?

well it's more metallic feeling, the retro feels smoother in a way. not to say it isn't smooth, it just feels different. also I was using it with a return spring which took a little getting used to (it's a fairly stiff return spring), but I liked it a lot. Not as quiet as the Retro, and not as light, but a straight shooter. My greatest concern with it was how uncomfortable the grip was compared to the Retro, especially the second finger against trigger guard (even with gloves), but keep in mind these parts are manually machined, even the radius down the back of the frame is clearly hand-cut with file!

I got my Multicam Carters Commandos jersey the other day along with 8 throwback baseball and basketball jerseys.

I have that same issue with the trigger guard hitting my second finger on my boxgun. It is quite annoying.

try different grips.
I love the ccm 86, especially the hogue grips on the 86 that mounts to phantom/m16.
But put the hogues on the cocker 86 and the trigger guard really messes with your middle finger's knuckle.

I'm using panels on it, I swapped to hogue panels and it's a bit better but the frame ergonomics issue still remains (I don't really care though, I bought it for my collection, the Retro gets 99% of the field time).

Interestingly though, I put those panels from the Carter onto one of the Retros, and it's awesome! I might even like em better than the hogues, just the way they fit the frame and the profile from the back is hourglassy instead of mid-swelled. instantly felt like a high end 1911 in the hand, slim but hefty and balanced at the same time. Will investigate further

Should be getting a copy of the September issue of Paintball News Magazine, an RT Parts Kit, and 2 Automag Rt's I got off of ebay either today or tomorrow. Hopefully today as I purchased the markers on the 23rd of this month.
