Here is what they looked like pre anno. This is what steel would look like as well and would keep the look better because it doesn't need anno.

Hey guys, I finally have pictures of the unfinished prototypes. The panels pictured are in delrin and the trigger frame hump is in aluminum. The first run of both will be in delrin. If they sell well, we may do some aluminum, brass, etc.
The panels will be widened, thinner, and glossier for the next prototype. The humps will have the bottom curve modified to fit duckbills. Hopefully that will be the last prototype and we will begin production. Price will still be $20-$25 each + 3 shipping per package.

What do you think?

The prototypes are a little thicker than a 1/4 inch if I remember right, but they will be machined down to roughly the thickness of the KAPP panels for the next run. The idea is to offer an alternative the VERY thin CCM panels.

Hey guys. Got a peek at the latest prototypes tonight

Changes that will be made:
Humps will be adjusted to fit flatter on the frame and will be a bit thinner. A radius will be applied to the back where the hand holds it.
Panels will have a radius applied on the top and bottom and be rounded on a couple of corners. Will also be made wider in the rear.

Make note that both of these are unfinished, no buffing has been applied to make them smooth and shiny.

The panels look huge, but I still like them. Any chance you'll thin them out a little bit more?

I agree, they do look big. I think it is somewhat of an optical illusion, though, b/c they have not been polished and have not been rounded at the top and bottom. Have you ever used KAPP or Dye panels before? They are the same width as those.

Can't say that I've used them, but I've seen KAPP panels and they look thin.

Can't wait to see the finished product, it's a neat idea. I may consider picking some up once they're done.

Panels came out nice. Too bad I don't need more grips
The humps came out really well! I can see these selling well for those who love the humpback style.
