Thanks! That snow video would have been 720p, but we had a ridiculously slow uplink at the time so I had to stick with 480p.

Yep, cam angle is an important one. bigballa had a tutorial for mounting a gopro low on your mask, but I'm not sure how well it would work with the centerfeed gun. You want clarity - what you're doing, what you're shooting at, etc. The best footage will always come from up close, so that means bunkering moves, or running the field so the cam can see the guy you're shooting at. You could put it on the front of your hopper, or barrel mount it, and just edit to guncam highlights. When I'm looking at these videos after playing, I try to cut out parts where nothing is really happening. Anyways, here's my latest. This is the first and last time I'm shooting with this camera indoors. It just doesn't have a big enough sensor like the GoPros for ultra low light, but there are still some good highlights. As is the general rule with my stuff, there is the occasional casual Canadian swearing:

Nope, YouTube should have cut that down by now. I didn't check the file length, so I used their online editing tool to clip it short.

Yeah it's the best in the winter time! Maybe I just need a beastly tac light for my gun, to better illuminate my subjects for filming  It was annoying having to discard over 90% of the game footage simply because it was a black screen with shooting sounds.

Well the action you did show us was very fun to watch! It was short on my pc, I bet desert was watching on his mobile device, as the editing tools don't work on the mobile file on youtube, only on the high res version. |
