Paintball

So yeah about that.... Has anyone had experience with someone either talkin crap to your face or behind your back about being unfair for actually having gear instead of just so walmart gun and a mask?
Okay scenario time:
My buddy and I are one of a few who have "gear" you knw we haver nice guns and paintball pants and masks and whatnot. We go out to our little outlaw field that gets used by airsofters and other paintballers, and we meet up witha few guys that knows, but didn't know that where gonna be there. We have a good day swapping up teams and just having a good time. My buddy and I are the only ones with pumps mind you. Later on a week or so later my buddy's twin brother said he talked to "Skippy" (one of the guys who showed up later with a 98c and a walmart mask) and he said "yeah it was kind of unfair because 'Billy and Moose' (my buddy and I) had like $1000 guns and all the gear"

More or less we where out most of the time because of our lack of paint spraying skills. Anyways anyone have problems with whiners like that?

Very true. He was just mad that he had no skills whatsoever it is just iritating ya know? He though since he plays CoD that paintball shouldn't be a problem. Also I worked with him at one point and well let's say I'm glad he got fired.

First world problems indeed.

We get that all the time. We've had to tone down our attire just to be considered for playing with other groups. Everyone fears the pump/pistol group that plays Friday nights, we've gone from our full jersey/players pants combos with flashy stuff to subdued tourney style pants (for padding) and hoodies, with less flashy masks (the Rap4 Hawkeye is a good option if you want to look like a renter and still get a quality mask)

I would switch guns with them.

I get their gun and they use my pump. To this day, I only had 1 person actually use my pump in game. He didn't last long. FWIW, once you explain how a pump works, they usually switch back.

That's what we do, we explain to the renters that we have to manually cock and chamber each shot we take, while they can shoot however many times they pull the trigger, sometimes they're less edgy about us joining, other times they want to keep to themselves.

Which is fine by us, 2v2's never hurt anyone, right?

That's insane that you got to have a $1000 gun just to win the game... i'd be whining too.
