| Confirmed Agglet | Its honestly tiny. Not much larger than contour. People make them out to be huge. But Good luck with finding yours!

| Facta Non Verba | That's a matter of preference. It's small yes, but it is also not as streamlined as the contour. It has a pretty significant bit of extra frontal area depending on the application you're using it for.

I got my roam on a one day special from amazon that had next day shipping... $130. Amazon prices change often, if you want something just watch for a while and they often have really good deals, but you have to jump when it happens, as it usually doesn't last. They had kindle fires for $139 the other day... Lasted about half a friday before they were gone. I would buy used, if it did what I wanted, but the roam fits my needs better than the other contours as it has 170 field of vision at 720hd. The regular contours are 125 field of vision. For a helmet cam the 170 is MUCH better. |

I love my Contour, but I have had a recent issue with some video that I took with it, without any seeming problems, and now, I can't watch it. It sucks that they record in .MOV, and I have a harder time seeing that on anything other than like Quicktime viewer. Yes, I have seen my stuff on Windows Media viewer, but it is easier to see it on Quicktime. If you aren't buying a Contour+, I would recommend getting the Contour HD or Contour GPS over the Roam. Only because they can be programmed with different shooting stuff, like 30 fps or 60 fps, and so on. Plus, you can get extra batteries for those two models, the Roam has it's own built in battery, and when it is dead, you have to charge it up again to use it. Now if I can just get those few other files uncorrupted or whatever...

If we do a deal, where you are sending me something, please don't use UPS. Out of the last three packages, one was delivered to my neighbors next door (Damn thieves), one was delivered with an item that was grossly not what I had bought, and the third wasn't delivered, but claimed to be. | |

I've found that the contour has the lowest profile when mounted between your eyes on your visor. ![]() and yes, I use duck tape to hold the back down, don't want to have my footage ruined because my mount moved a little while I was diving down some hill during a game. Everyone I know that has tried to mount the go pro on their visor ends up with it getting ripped off during a game. Mine has never moved, and it is low enough that it doesn't stick very much over my helmet. It doesn't get caught on stuff while playing, and the footage is very good, even when laying prone. (at around 4:00 in this video I crawl up a hill, and lay down while shooting the other team) ZoomCam Game 2 & 3 Woodsball HD Trails of Doom Sniper 300 + Foot Shots on Film! - YouTube |
