There really isn't any timing when you take the pneumatics off a cocker and turn it into a pump. The only thing you can adjust timing wise is the hammer lug and the AT if you put an AT kit on it. Outside of that, they're really one of the more basic guns to work on and not a lot can go wrong.

If you're going to go for a high dollar pump, I'd just get a CCM. Nothing against what empire did but to me it's a bit generic / ugly looking. I think the MVP is probably a hell of a nice shooter as well but to me they're a bit ugly as well.

okay, question, how is Empire's customer service. It's a big deciding point in my eyes, and I was wondering if it compares at all to CCM's or CCI's.

Also still considering a sniper build, but I need to talk myself out of these first

Its empire, so youre dealing with KEE. Anyways, i had an sm1, sold that and got an empire sniper. Couldnt be happier. Its got everything you need outta the box. the stock class feed tube works awesome, the pump stroke is pretty damn smooth, the gun with the stock barrel kit is pretty quiet and works great too. The gun is pretty light, especially with a 12g adaptor and the feed tube. I highly recommend the gun. I dont think ill look at getting a different one for a very long time. Oh and the trigger feels really good as well, not much pull on it.

Heh one of the guys I know who just got a Empire Sniper had an issue and it was a bit rough getting service but it did get done. Just gotta follow up with them - a lot - lol.

As packages go Empire Snipers are pretty decent - the barrel kit needs a bit more options in sizers imho but works for todays current smaller size paint ok enough.

CCI and CCM are shining examples of the gold standard of service on the other hand. Both companies are worth every penny when it comes to quality and support

If you like the Sniper2 platform and can afford it - go CCM get it NIB for a lifetime warranty.

Otherwise get what you are happy with and can afford =P

bottom line its your new baby =P
