Alternatives to Paintball Pants?

Hello MCB...

I have decided that I am done wearing "paintball" pants. I hate the restrictive padding, the swishy noises, bright colors, and lack of breathability. If there is one thing I cant stand, its being uncomfortable on the field.

So, I have arranged a quick poll to find out what I should switch to using.

You vote, and explain your votes, and I will decide what to try out based on the results.

Sound good?

Roller hockey pants are pretty light, tough, and breathable.

Before my DBD pants I played for a long time in some Cargo shorts I had that went low enough to just cover my knees. They were great.

I concur. And the new Valken pants are pretty sweet. Special thanks to OXCC for those. BDU's have been my go to pants since the 80s.

Woodland BDU's are all I have EVER worn, in all my years of paintball.

BDU's. Try to get an older pair from the flea market. The older ones tend to be of higher quality than the newer ones.

EDIT: Or a frilly white skirt, whatever floats yer boat...

Not BDUs, strictly speaking, but I wear these. So far, extremely comfortable (and fit great), well made, durable, but not overly hot. Basically a less expensive copy of the Crye pants, but still extremely well made (and the knee pads were included!).

Mary mother of jesus those are expensive

OP just wear whatever shorts and kneepads, I guess. I've seen slider shorts, but never really understood what they're good for? Do the agg kids wear them under PB pants?
