Kingman Eko Valve

Does anyone have any experience with Kingman's Eko valve? They boast efficiency on CO2, and I'm wondering two things. Firstly, can anyone verify those claims? Secondly, can anyone take a guess (or just know) if the efficiency gain translates to HPA? I know the dynamics are different between the two air sources, but I was wondering what exactly that may mean with the Eko.

Thanks all!

Context: I'm wondering how many shots/mags I can get off a 13/3k with a Spyder MRX.

Edit: I suppose this should have been in "Ask the Experts." Oopsies.

it's probably hype. i remember they advertised it when they had their 50 cal guns.

or course it'll have more shots with 50 cal paint...

but they're decent blowbacks regardless though. my 08 electra has less problems than my high ends, and that's pre-eko valve.

That's kinda what I figured, but I don't know. To give my post some context, I was looking at running a 13/3k on an MRX.

Good on you I just got my MRX yesterday in the mail so no info yet on gas consumption.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember Kingman being known for promoting a lot of smart parts type hype.

So far I am loving the marker. It has a very solid feel and I ran about a 100 rounds of old paint through the mags with no ball breaks.

Oh good! That's promising. Could I bother you for a quick measurement of the mags? I would like to know length, width and depth (thickness). I've got an idea, and I want to see if it's feasible.

BenoitOWN, damn that ran right under my radar.

Magoo, specs as follow:

Mag max width 2.5" inches.

Height 8.5" inches.

Thickness 1" inch.

Hope that helps.

The only person I know to have done some kind of efficiency test on the MR4 under in-game conditions is Youtube user "niteshadow".

When the MR4 first debuted, Kingman was advertising 1800 shots per 20 oz at 280fps.
Kingman has since dropped that number to 1500.
Niteshadow's test, if it is to believed, suggests that the actual number is around 1650.

I'm not positive, but it seems as though the valve works by having a dedicated exhaust port on the hammer-side for the blowback gas rather than venting a larger blast of it around the valvestem.

Also, I thought MAP pricing on the MRX was only $170?

These look promising. Do the 2012 guns still use that silly spyder bolt pattern on the bottom line? I was going to recommend an azodin kaos to my sister but the new xtra seems to be giving it some solid competition. You get a better feedneck and a sizable efficiency boost for the same price.
