ArchAngel speaks truth! Gargoyle frames are like melted butter on bacon! I have found less success with the CCM styled undercocking kit. I would suggest perhaps if this is a special build, get one built! BOS rocks some awesome pump handle work. I'm getting my 4th from him made now for my own roundhead body phantom.

Also SSC's fluted hammer matched with a bobbed valve is nice. ASP makes them as well. Both are top notch dealers.

But if you wanna start shooting, yeah just pick up the spare parts you need and go. Especially if you don't wanna be fancy (yet) you can always swap out parts later and build a loaner! I ended up making my loaner phantom into my recent main the same way!

not sure, but i tink i read some where Rainman is also doing a new version of his UnderCocking kit as well.
Here it is:
new phatom kit idea

Just something to look into. But imo, it looks a lot more stable than the current versions which were good, but would require frequent retightening.
edit: but thats still in development. Wouldnt expect it to come out any time soon.

As a former Gargoyle owner, I completeły agree!! The problem is that they are sold out of trigger frames.

Super Stanchy i believe has a performance kit which a lot of ppl have been liking so far.

it's funny you'd be starting a build I'm in mid build for my micro. only parts left to get are a fluted hammer, get the barrel freaked and then my 90 frame should arrive any day now. Only thing that drove me nuts was paying for a detent mod and getting a body and detents but the body wasn't milled so the detents had nowhere to go . Oh well happens as long as I can work that out with ASP I'll be happy I figure with a freaked barrel the detents won't be a huge issue anyways

Duckslide 1pc 13rd feed
Sergi Frame
ASP Roundhead
CCI cut pump handle

The only thing I would have changed is Rainman CCM undercocking kit and CCM phantom frame.

This is my current phantom, and I'm tempted to steal the bobbed/gauged valve from it and move it over to the roundhead, along with the quick disconnect bottomline.
