Axe vs Mini

Whats the difference? Or is this a Chevy / Pontiac thing?

To be more specific, the AXE improve on the mini in the following:
- The bottom regulator has an on/off as already stated
- The bolt has a toolless removal button
- The frame has been expanded to give more finger room

Otherwise the internal operation is identical on both markers.

Nope, that doesn't cover it.

The Axe also has a micro switch trigger rather than the HES of the Mini, and a roller bearing trigger.

The Axe bolt system is quick strip with the push of a button so you can take it out and clean it or relube it easier. Also the volume chamber around the Axe valve is much larger allowing for a smoother pressure release.

The Axe comes stock with the Shockwave board and has done for months now, the Mini is soon to be (if not already) coming stock with the Shockwave board, but it's definitely something to check if buying used. You want the Shockwave board over the older Optimus board.

The Axe has a larger trigger guard.

The Axe has a safety system to prevent you from taking the bolt out under pressure.

And then as mentioned, the Axe comes stock with the on/off Relay ASA regulator system. It also has improved ergonomics with a greater space between the foregrip and main grip along with a more rounded foregrip for comfort.

EDIT: more posts came up as I was typing my response.

Some people don't like the trigger on the mini or th ergonomics..try both and see what you like. The axe I have held and used and I can say hands on it is probably one of the best markers you can get for the price.

I really my mini, the axe takes an already stellar blow-forward design and expands on it.
