But if a kid in neon crawls up next to you then there will be two kids in neon!

Being good at "seeking around" won't help against attentive opponents if your wearing bright colors. Even is the brush is too thick to mack out any type of shape, your eyes wil still pick out colors that obviously don't belong.

Sure, you can wear whatever you want and surprise noobs, but sneaking up on experienced players is a different ballgame.

I just wear faded green clothes and occasionally have people stare directly at me without realizing I'm there, while I wait for them to move into the open. That wouldn't have worked if I was wearing colors that contrast my surroundings.

I sneak up on rec and regular players all the time, I wear a bright red shirt, in the woods (when I used to play there) I would pair a bright shirt with camo pants.

My cousin also had the opposite, he wore a pair of white pants and a camo top, and ended up being the last one in that particular game, and managed to stay hidden very well.

IMO, I don't think camo is necessary, but it does help a bit, especially if you pair it with a sneakish technique.

Camo helps break up a potentially obvious shape. It's great if you get spotted or misfire, as you can just freeze up and they won't be able to easily distinguish your shape.

I typically carry one extra tube and give them 1 ball from it.

I'm an *** like that.

This is surprisingly true.

You got 5 players coming over a hill or behind a bunker you just flanked, 4 in camo blending together into a big player blob with 4 heads, one in "shoot me now" neon.

Which one are you going to shoot first?

yepp.. its like in chess. what pieces do you pay the most attention to?
Its best to look like a pawn. er.. same argument goes for guns and shooting. e.g., dont shoot unless you are trying to draw attention. and ubergats always get special attention. << Thats why I LOVE the flashy tourney guys on woodsball fields.. they make such great bait whether shooting or not.

wasn't there an old cartoon strip where it was 4 guys standing next to each other: noob, rec player, experienced, and pro...something like that...but "noob" and "pro" are dressed the same. Pretty sure I saw it in an old APG way back
