I'm in the both category as I shoot a Grey Ghost for stock class and a Series 6 for open, but if it came down to one I'd probably go with my Series 6 so I'm with stilgar and would say Sheridan...

What does a BE Nightmare go under? They are some sort of hybrid?

Agreed, I do wish that I could find a Nelson base that had as smooth of pump stroke. I loved my phantom It just didn't have as smooth of pump stroke as my CCM s6.5.

They are Crosman-based. All three of those designs predate paintball, while a Sterling system does appear to be more of a nelson-sheridan hybrid.
